Short version: FractalX does not collect, store, or share any personal data. The tool runs entirely on your machine and sends no telemetry. This website uses no tracking scripts or cookies beyond what your browser itself manages.
1. Who We Are
FractalX is an open-source static decomposition framework for modular monolithic Spring Boot applications, licensed under the Apache License 2.0. This Privacy Policy applies to the FractalX project website (the "Site") and the FractalX software tool (the "Tool").
2. Information We Do Not Collect
The FractalX Tool runs entirely on your local machine. It does not:
- Transmit any data to remote servers
- Collect metrics, analytics, or usage telemetry
- Require account creation or login
- Access or read files outside your project directory
- Phone home in any form
Your source code, decomposition output, and configuration remain entirely under your control, on your own infrastructure.
3. Website Analytics
This Site does not use third-party analytics scripts, tracking pixels, or advertising cookies. No personal identifiers are collected as a result of visiting this Site.
Standard server access logs (IP address, browser user agent, referrer, timestamp) may be retained by the hosting provider for a limited period for operational and security purposes. FractalX does not control or access these logs beyond what the hosting provider makes available.
4. Third-Party Services
This Site links to and embeds resources from the following third-party services:
- Google Fonts - Font files are loaded from Google's CDN. Google may log the request. See Google's Privacy Policy.
- GitHub - Source code, issue tracking, and release distribution are hosted on GitHub. Interactions with GitHub (such as submitting issues or starring the repository) are governed by GitHub's Privacy Statement.
5. Cookies and Local Storage
This Site uses browser localStorage solely to remember your preferred color theme (dark or light mode) between visits. This data is stored in your browser and is never transmitted to any server. No cookies are set by this Site.
6. Children's Privacy
FractalX is a developer tool not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect any information from individuals under the age of 13.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Site or Tool after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
